Bowling

Also called ten-pin bowling, bowling is a competitive sport where players roll a ball down a wooden lane attempting to knock down as many of the ten "pins" as possible. Divided into ten rounds called"frames" each player is given two chances to knock down the pins. If all pins are knocked down on the first attempt, it is called a strike and is given ten points. If a player knocks down all pins within two balls of a frame, it is known as a spare. Bonus points are awarded according to how the pins are knocked down , as well as on the tenth and final frame. A maximum of 12 strikes can be achieved in one game, with a maximum score of 300, which is considered a perfect game.
